Kästorf schlägt Ortszentrum für Bildung vor
Kästorf
Die Kästorfer Isetal-Grundschule könnte schon 2015 zum Zentrum für Kinder und Bildung
ausgebaut werden. Hinter diesem Vorschlag haben sich die Ortsratsmitglieder Jürgen Völke,
Willy Knerr, Rita Wendig, Ingo Düsterhöft, Werner Hermann, Britta Blum und Tim Nikolaus
parteiübergreifend versammelt.
Hintergrund sind rückläufige Kinderzahlen in der bestehenden Tagesstätte. Die Idee ist,
am Schliekenberg Schule, Hort, Kindergarten und Jugendtreff sowie als Generationenprojekt
den Seniorentreff zusammenzufassen.
Für die Anwohner an der Wilscher Straße sowie im Hesegarten würde das eine
Verkehrsentlastung ermöglichen.
Die nötigen Investitionen für das neue Bildungszentrum möchte der Ortsrat zusammen mit der
städtischen Erschließungsgesellschaft GEG aus dem Verkaufserlös der Kindergartenfläche als
Wohnbauland finanzieren. Nur die Planungskosten müssten 2014 zügig vorfinanziert werden.
Im Idealfall, so Bürgermeister Völke, wäre auch noch Geld für eine Dorf-Infrastruktur mit
Wander- und Radwegen übrig.
